hello new world

It has been FOREVER since i have posted...ok 1 and a half years is'nt really forever but when your my age (17) that seems like a pretty long time. i have no clue as to what i should be talking about. lets see... i have a job!!! i currently work at Firehouse Subs home to the hottest subs in mobile :] i love working there i got the job back in...march i wanna say. its very rewarding to make your own hard earned money and then when you buy something with that same money you feel accomplished because its YOUR money not your parents. What i have noticed though is that i think alot harder ab what im buying before i buy it (even if my mom doesnt think so). Should i write ab dylans addiction? i think so. My mom decided that while my brothers were at boy scout camp (5 days straight) that it would be perfectly fine to allow dylan to play from 8 a.m. all the way to 11p.m. ...big big big mistake. he is literally addicted now. the other day he had been playing for awhile and i had been waiting to watch t.v., 10 minutes earlier my mom told him he had one minute so i waited and waited and then proceeded to tell him that i was giving him 30 seconds to save and i was turning the xbox off. Needless to say he didnt listen and i turned it off and he FLIPPED...was it bad that i had no remorse? anyway, ive run out of things to say soooo yeah.

To Write Or Not To Write...a question thats been answered :]

So SOMEONE sujested i write about this guy i just met. His name is Mack :] He's a pretty cool guy for those of you who havent met him. It all started Saturday...at an 8 year old's party of all place haha. For starters i should probly explain why he was there. For those of you that know the Applegates(i love the Applegates their such a sweet family!) Mack is Liberty's brother. Anyway. We started talkin and laughing and all that cool stuff at the party so before we left we traded numbers...kinda. So we've been talkin back and forth since then! Sunday was pretty funny. We had potluck and everyone was waiting for the food to be set out when a mob of kids just kinda attacked me and stole my shoes which was scary to say the least haha. After almost 15 minutes of chasing after my shoe my hero emerges! None other then Mack :] he got my shoe and threw it to me which i was very happy about considering i dont really like walkin around barefoot. Later that day he just kept saying stuff that made me smile. I asked if he had a handbook in front of him on how to make me smile. He said no but i should write a book should'nt i? With that said...keep an eye out for "How to make Chelsea smile By: Big Mack" haha totally kidding. Anyway my point is if you havent met this guy you should he's pretty awesome (he's got some awesome eyes too ;])hes sweet, and good with kids. MEET MACK! ....please :]

Soooo

Anyway. Schools been pretty good. I got A-B honor roll first quater of first semester. I'VE PASSED MY DRIVER'S TEST, on the first try might i say :] Besides that schools school what do you expect? Lets see....nothings goin on at church at the moment sadly. quirks

The RULES:

1. Link the person who tagged you...no one tagged me i just wanted to play :] hehe

2. Post these rules.

3. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours.

4. Tag 6 fellow bloggers by linking them

1) I have to repeat something out loud 99.9% of the time so ill remember it. Like if theres a joke or a quote or a saying i want to remember i have to say out loud for me to remember it. On a VERY rare occasion ill remember without repeating it out loud.

2) If you verbally tell me to remember something (even if i repeat it out loud) i wont remember what you asked 5 seconds later guarnteed....ask my mom. She can tell you how many times she would tell me to get the broom and i would come back with a rag, im not even kidding. If you verbally tell me to remember something its almost guarnteed ill forget in 5 seconds.

3) I tend to laugh way to loud on accident sometimes. For example, today in health class my friend Alex knocked over his desk and i laughed REALLY LOUD! It wasnt even that funny i just laugh to loud on accident and that bugs me about myself.

4) Along with laughing to loud, i can talk to loud. I dont really know why but the longer i talk the louder i seem to get. Lunch time is the worst cause its loud anyway so you have to speak up, but then by then end of lunch im almost yelling. Its kinda funny all my friends make fun of me :]

5)I cant walk or run straight. If i think about walking or running straight, i end up tripping on myself cause im focused on walking straight. I remember when i would be running at soccer practice my coach would yell at me to run straight.

6) I love wearing funky clothes or accessories. I have some BRIGHT neon blue skinny jeans. I love them and i practically died when i saw them. I also have these cool green 80's sun glasses that i wear ALL THE TIME. I just about cried when i had to live without them for a week when i left them in mississippi. :]

im pretty sure everyone has been tagged, and considering i wasnt tagged and i just took it off someones blog...feel free to steal!!! haha

School

So school is officially back in. I'm officially a sophomore. Most importantly, i can officially pick on the freshies :] haha not in a mean way. You know how theres always one person you like to mess with but its not ever mean its just...messing with them? That's the kinda mess with I'm talking about hhaaa. I also decided that I'm going to find some random freshman and make them my best friend. Considering school has just started i don't have much to say about it. my first class of the day is mythology, and I'm thinking that's going to be fun Ive always liked myths and stuff and in fact the odyssey is on my list of good books! My second class is health/drivers ed. 4 words...STAY OFF THE ROADS. until i know how to drive CORRECTLY i would advise you drive very cautiously :] I'm not that bad I'm just not that good either haha. my third class is English. I'm sure in going to have fun in there i have alot of friends in that class, and the teacher seems nice. On top of all of that we get to read Julius Cesar which I'm excited about because i like Shakespeare...do i strike you as a Shakespeare person? :] haha My last class of the day is geometry and so far im doing ok. I have a few friends in there and we help each other out with the stuff we dont get when were doin classwork or were working on our homework. I think if i juat stay focused ill be able to get a good grade in ther class. As the year goes on ill have more to write about obviously but for now....its boring!

p.s. sorry for the messy-ness i wrote this in a hurry its almost 10 on a school night and i need to take a shower and get some sleep :] i promise better bloggin in the future

Mississippi here i come

So my parents failed to tell me that i was going to Mississippi from 5 o'clock tonight until Saturday morning when i would be leaving from Mississippi to baton rouge for a temple trip. Its not that i don't want to go to Mississippi its just that they didn't tell me until the night before. I was hoping that maybe i would be able to hang out with some of my friends on Friday for a friends birthday. If i would of known i was going to be in Mississippi i wouldn't have even told them i would ask my parents. I know I'm only 15 and i cant always do everything i would like to but there are some things i would like to know about a few days in advanced, like this trip. On top of not knowing that i was going, its just my dad, Blake, and me going. Its not even the whole family. I sometimes wonder why parents wait to tell us stuff until the last minute but then they get mad at us for telling them stuff at the last minute. THAT, my dear friends, is an unanswered question in my house.

Word to the wise...

Considering that i dont often have random thoughts of 'wisdom' i guess you could call it i like to write it down when i do. I was sittin here at the computer just looking for something to do, a game, a quiz, or even just an article i could read, out of no where i got this thought. what if everyone really did care? I mean like, what if EVERYONE in the world was like the few people that want to make everything right, and actually try to. I kinda wish i could be one of those people that travles around the world tryin to save a river that no one has ever heard of but they know it will make a differene to SOMEONE if they do. Why cant everyone have the same drive and compassion as those few people that dare to do things that are completly crazy but completly sane at the same time? What if we all did one thing everyday that wouldnt benifit us in anyway, but by blessings alone? Would the world be a better place? Most deffinately. Would people start havin sudden changes of heart to help someone because they were simply inspired by someone elses good deeds? It wouldnt surprise me. I wanna be one of those people that retires and goes around the world helping others and makin changes for the better. I want to be a modern hero. Im goin to make it a point now at the age of 15 to make a difference in the world. Even if its a small difference that goes unnoticed or a big differnce that shakes the world...im goin to do it. I dont quite know how i will yet but i do know im goin to. It may not happen today and it may not happen this month but i can promise you this, i will somehow help someone in need.

EFY!!!

First off i want to say efy was hands down the most spiritual experience i have ever had. I had the best time of my life in 5 short days. The first day was registration. My cousins and i signed in, got our t-shirts, our efy handbooks, wristbands (which i still have on), efy CD, and name tag. After we signed in we got to walk around the church for a little bit. As i was walking around with my cousin one boy thought i was someone named Mena and called for me. I turned around and introduced myself. I met my first friend who I'm still in touch with. His name is Jordan, and he lived about 20 minutes from the efy church building. Along with him my cousin and i also met his 4 friends. Tyler (who i still talk to), Broc, Stratton (i still talk to him too), and Taylor. They all lived in Ogden and had known each other since they were little. We hung out with them until it was time to meet our group. We got into our group and got to know each other there were 9 of us 10 if you included our counselor. We had a fun time the whole week we got to be like a little family. We met with our group twice a day once in the morning and once at the end of the day. We told each other everything, and our lessons always ended up with us talkin about which boys we liked haha. Our counselor's name was Jessica, she was 19 so she was pretty much one of us, we treated her as more of a best friend then a leader :] After we met our group, we got to meet our company. Our company consisted of two girl groups and one big guy group. When we met our company we had our two friends from earlier in our company, Tyler and Broc. Once everyone was situated everyone had to stand up and introduce themselves and tell where they were from. For the most part everyone was from Utah. We had one person from Las Vegas, one from Oregon, and one from Arizona. Of course i lived the farthest away...when everyone heard i was from Alabama, they thought i was kiddin but as i talked more they believed me cause of my accent :] After everyone introduced themselves i made some more friends, Alex from Utah (I'm still in touch with him), Bret from Arizona (i still talk to him too), and Nate from Oregon. They were all brothers, not biological obviously, they were all half brothers. Through out the week i hung out with them alot and my cousin hung out with the other group of boys more. Later that night we had family home evening. We had a lesson with our company and we moved over to an open field next to the church for games. We played alot of games and just basically had alot of fun. Tuesday we had classes, those were fun. In one of the classes Broc, Tyler, Jordan, Stratton, and Taylor hung out with us. We were drawing pictures in our little note books the whole time lol. Later that night we had a dance. I was dancing with someone when he asked where i was from. When i told him i was from Alabama he freaked out and said "OOH YOUR ALABAMA GIRL?!?!?" thus my nickname was born :] I later found out that my friend Alex had told everyone to call me that, i didnt care i like havin nicknames. Its funny though cause every now and then i would dance with someone who knew me but i had no idea who they were just for the fact that i was the only person in all of efy from Alabama. Wednesday was classes again. During free time on Wednesday was tryout time for the variety show. I was sitting on a couch with my cousin when my friends Alex and Nate came and asked me to try out with them. so i got up and started walkin with them. They told me that all i had to do was introduce the band and then snap my fingers with their cousin Stephanie. We walked into the room and i introduced the band and moved to the back to snap my fingers. After they were done singing their song the counselors asked where i was from so i told them and then they said ok well what if you introduce half of the people that are goin to be performing? So i walked out of the tryout room introducing half the people only intending to introduce one haha. Thursday was Sunday dress day. The classes were so much fun and very spiritual. I learned alot about the For Strength of Youth too. Later that day we made knit hats for a charity. My cousin and i had to start over a couple of times because we messed it up but we finally got it write towards the end. After lunch was the variety show so i had to eat lunch fast and get to the gym so we could go through the show one time. When it was time for the show everyone started to poor in and sit down. The show went well and everyone did a good job. We had another dance later that night, and just like the dance earlier in the week, people knew me but i didnt know them. As the dance came to a close one of my friends Meghan picked up her phone only to find that the screen was cracked. She flipped out...it was kinda funny though, not the fact her phone was cracked but how she was flippin out. The next day, Friday, was the last day of efy. In my opinion Friday was the best day out of the week. We had 2 long classes then lunch and then one last class. Afterwards we all met in the gym for the closing assembly. We had a slide show and we sang the efy medley. As soon as we said the closing prayer i broke down. I just couldnt stop crying to save my life. I didnt want efy to end i had met so many people and had so many good experiences. I was very sad to leave i didnt want to. My cousin and i were invited to go to this place called Jakes over the top to hang out with some people from efy. My cousin didnt want to go but i did so she went home. I stayed at Jakes for i little while and hung out with my friends until i had to go. It was another sad goodbye BUT i didnt cry :] i was all dry i didnt have anymore tears left in me! As i already said efy was hands down the most spiritual experience i have ever had in my whole life. I dont think anything will ever be able to top it. I take that back NOTHING will ever top it. Im excited about goin again next year, im already looking forward to it.

It's Almost Time :]

I decided to wait till the night before i left for camp to write again. So I'm obviously going to write about camp since i am leaving tomorrow and i will have no way to write for 3 days, well 2 if i decide to write the day i come back. I am STILL upset that camp is only 3 days long, but it'll all be OK I'm hoping. Since the campsite is closer then normal we will get there earlier and hopefully get to do just as many things, maybe not as many extra activities or free time but I'm guessing it will all work out. I finally got my secret sister gifts today after a failed attempt to get my permit. We drove to the license place and we walk up to the door only to find that they were closed for some holiday that i had never heard of in my life. Leave it up to government run offices to ruin my good mood. I have been waiting for almost a month now to get it, and now i wont be able to until Thursday night or Friday morning. Things never really seem to work out for me the first time...i was talking about my secret sister OK sorry. So anyway i went and got my gifts today i like them all, so I'm hoping that whoever becomes my secret sister will like them too. I only got 3 though (normally you get 4) cause i didn't know how they were doing things this time around. I'm actually kinda interested now that i keep thinking about it we will only be there for 2 nights and the last night of camp we always have a testimony meeting. I'm actually kinda getting a headache from thinking about how its all going to work. I don't even really know why I'm worrying about it I'm not in charge, and I'm not a YL so why in the world am I worried?!?! Ive noticed (along with my ADDish characteristics) that i get worried about things i really shouldn't. Well its more of an extreme thinking stage then worrying. I think of all the ups and downs then i tend to focus on the downs. I never really saw myself as a pessimistic person but that doesn't really support that I'm not. If you know me you know I'm not like that though I'm always saying "look on the bright side", "it could have been worse if..." or "At least...(insert bad event) didn't happen to you." I Really should be trying to help the people I'm saying that about rather then make my life seem easier compared to theirs. How did i start talking about this? i was talking about camp... hahaha oh well. I finished packing my stuff today too. I never start packing till the night before though. i packed more then enough clothes i only really needed to pack 3 outfits but i packed 6 just in case. i know I'm a little OVER packed but i always do, its just me. id rather have enough clothes then not have enough and have to wear something Ive already worn because i get thrown in a lake...cause iv had that happen. Last year i was given the man over bored award because Sara Howard and I got tipped over in the boat by some people swimming in the lake. That was not a very fun experience ill tell you that. So as far as i go, I'm not going near any lakes this summer. no way Jose! For the next 3 days its going to be just my sister and my mom till 4 in the afternoons. Ethan and Dylan are going to a day cub scout camp and Blake is at scout camp until Saturday. So we get to live Blake free for one week and i get to be family free for 3 days:] i admit i do get a teensy weensy homesick but i like the freedom. Well the freedom from the chaos at home i mean. I always like going to girls camp. i just like the fact that I'm around people who have the same standards as me and i don't have to explain everything about the church because they already know!:] oh the joys of church camps. For no real reason that makes me think to talk about this. Has anyone ever noticed that guys deodorant works better and longer then girls? well i have and now i wear men's deodorant. Its kinda cool actually cause now when i think i smell someone good i realize its me hahaa. Man I'm a dork. I know i started out talking about girls camp, how in the world did i end up on men's deodorant? My brain and how it functions is very complex obviously. Either that or I'm very scatter brained all the time. I guess most teenagers are though. The scatter brain part. Well its 11 48 and i have to get up at 6 sooo i guess ill end this here and i will definitely have some exciting stories when i get back from camp. ;]

My weekend and next week

Tomorrow is saterday as most of you know im sure, well by the time some of you read this it will be saterday already considering it is now 10:54 pm. The whole family, aside from my dad because he's going fishing again, is going to waterville tomorrow. Were going with some friends for their sons birthday. We went last year with them and we had a blast , we stayed all day and left around 4 30 to head home. On the way home we stopped for dinner at Lambert's. Wow, that place is so much fun. It's so laid back and loud, and VERY kid friendly. The best part though is the throwed rolls. They take their rolls fresh out of the over on a cart and throw them to whoever puts their hands in the air. With kids being kids, we had enough rolls to feed a starving country by the end of the night. The parents had to tell them to stop asking for rolls untill they ate the ones they had plus all their food. Their food is another story. They serve massive amouts of food that could probably feed 2 people honestly, depending on what you order. I ordered the chicken wings, I dont remember how many I had or how many I even ate but I know I was full and their were still some left over. Not only did you get what you ordered, but after you got your plate they had people walking around with bowls of food. If you asked, they would happily add more to your plate, but only after you got your plate(they werent allowed to put it on napkin). Why am i talking about Lambert's? Im suppose to be talking about Waterville. I really do think i have a mild case of ADD. I always start talking about one thing and end up on a COMPLETLY different subject, always, it doesnt matter i always do. And if imnot talking about it im doing something or looking at something then i get completly distracted but something that really shouldnt have distracted me. For example, today at walmart as we were shoping for camo stuff i went off looking for ceraine wrap and was totally distracted by a silicon muffin sheet and competly forgot about the ceraine wrap till i herd my sister yellin. THERE I GO AGAIN! RRRAAANNNNDDDDOOMMMM! Who knows mabey its just a phase im going through but if it is, ive been going through this ADD-ish stage for quite some time, 3 years now. Anyway, Waterville, thats going to be oodles of fun:] Did i just say oodles? Whatever hahaha. Next week is girls camp for me and scout camp for my brother. I will be gone for 3 days while he will be gone for 6, well hes coming back on saterday but still it counts as a day. Im upset that our camp is only 3 days this year. 3 days is nothing, we always have 5 days but this year they waited to long to book the camp site and the only one they found was only available for 3 days in a row :[ As i already said, im upset I always have alot of fun at camp, yes it can be miserable sometimes because of the heat but its still fun. ive decided to buy ceraine wrap and an air horn:] no tellin what im guna do...nothing mean though cause thats just wrong. But i am taking sister huff's advise "dont do something to someone else if you wouldnt want them to do that to you." but see here's the flaw i could care less what pranks are pulled on me so therefore im giving permission to all those that read this to prank me but be warned that i can come up with some pretty sneaky stuff...;] im planing to do something not so harsh to the first years. i mean i have to its like an unofficial iniation kinda. I was pranked, i pranked the first years for the past 2 years, its only right to keep the traditon going...right? i think so...we'll see what happens

Wanna know more about me?...as if you didnt already know enough

Last Saterday

Wow i haven't blogged in a LONG time i cant believe i didn't write about last weekend. Last weekend i went deep sea fishing with my dad my siblings and brother Applegate. I had never been deep sea fishing before so this was my first time and not only was it my first time it was my sisters first time fishing period. Anyway, we docked off somewhere in Bayou La Batre. As we started the boat up my dad went and parked the car everyone put one their life vest and as soon as my dad got back, we were off. So as we start to make our way out into the vast open ocean my dad and kit start debating on where to set the anchor so we could fish. They finally decide on a place near the lower end of dauphin island about 15 minutes later. Brother Applegate set the anchor and my dad began to rig all the fishing lines. Since my dad had fished in the same place last time he thought that we would be catching a good amount of sharks and fish since last time they were catching something every 10 minutes. It was at least half an hour at the least before we even got a bite. Notice I said a bite not a catch. It was yet another half hour till Blake actually caught a shark but we didn't keep it so there for we threw it back but it was a good 34 inches. Maybe 20 minutes later Hannah gets a bite but she couldn't control it so i took it over for her. From the way it was fighting and pulling you would have thought it was a baby shark. When i finally got it out of the water it was an eel. My dad and brother Applegate were both surprised to see an eel fighting like that then brother Applegate said it probably had the bait in its stomach when Hannah realized she had something and that's why it may have been fighting so hard. Half an hour later i finally got something and to my surprise it was a shark :] my first catch was a shark and this one was a keeper it was well over 34 inches and fat so we kept it. not even 30 minutes later i got something else. It was a sting ray. I fought with that thing for a good 5 minutes. I almost broke the fishing rod because the sting ray decided to go under the boat and he wanted me to go down with him. my dad had to take the rod from me and brake the line. he got away obviously. i just wanted to let everyone know of my first catch :] i don't think we tool pictures this time i think brother Applegate did though.

The Endless Fight

My littlest brother, Dylan, has this weird idea that MY cat simba (the orange one with the sunglasses on the side photo) is his. I have no idea where he got the idea that he was his he just came into my room one day and said "Simba is my cat" then he simply walked out. i sat in my bed kind of wondering what had just happened for a good while before i walked out and started to tell him that he was mine. i had declared this fat orange cat mine the day we found him in the backyard of our old house. He has been my cat ever since then and that was 2 years ago. So i honestly don't know why out of the blew he decided that simba was going to be his cat. i mean, simba sleeps in my room most of the time and when i say most i mean 6 days out of the week. he always follows me around the house and sometimes even when i go outside. which brings up another story. A couple of weeks ago Dylan took simba outside and i told him he better watch him closely or he would run off and i would have to find him. sure enough, as soon as i walk in he runs off to play with his friends and leaves simba all alone. about 10minutes later when i asked Dylan where he was he looked at me and said oops i left him outside. i got so mad but the first thing i did was run outside to find him while Dylan just stayed inside watching TV. i looked for that cat for at least 30 minutes before i found him under the house. so I've come to the conclusion that if simba was Dylan's cat wouldn't he have been the one looking for him, wouldn't he have been crawling under the house dodging cat poop and spider webs? so in my opinion, Dylan is just a lover and not anywhere near an owner of MY cat. This has been an ongoing fight for over 3 weeks now. I could safely say its been going on for at least 1 month...which is kind of sad. This will probably be an ongoing fight till Dylan finds something else that isn't his but he will insist it is to whoever the real owner is. i just find this all a little funny because I'm sure he knows what hes doing, saying that something is his when he knows its not. He knows it aggravates people, He just wont let it go until he either makes you give up what ever it is he wants to him or until he loses all interest in it and leaves it behind. really though, what do you expect from a little boy who happens to be the baby of the family? (and is still treated as the baby...because he still acts like a baby)

The Wonderfull Smell Of...Sharks?

This past Saturday my dad and my two little brothers, Dylan and Blake, went deep sea fishing. Ethan and I didn't go because we didn't want to miss our soccer games. (Which we both lost by 1 point) They were gone from 10 until around 4:30. As soon as they pulled the boat to the back I hopped in to look at the fish and the supposedly two sharks they had brought home. I had to help load everything off the boat and clean before I could look at the fish, so that took a good half hour maybe 45 minutes. As soon as I got off the boat I went straight to the cooler containing the fish. When i opened the cooler...BAM! Two sharks were sitting on top of the melting ice, life-less and dead. To tell you the truth, at first i was sort of freaked out because when i see a shark I expect it to be living or in a museum somewhere stuffed, not lifeless and still full of guts and blood. When I picked it up, a part of me wanted it to be alive to see it squirm, and the other part was saying "Chelsea, put it down, your guna drop it and daddy is going to get mad and your going to get in trouble." Well for anyone that knows me outta know I kept holding it. I mean honestly, how many chances are you going to get to hold a shark that your baby brother caught? Just for your information... I didn't drop it :] Well my dad waited till the next day to start cutting and cleaning the fish because it was to dark out side and to messy to do inside. when we opened the cooler...wow what a smell. The shark had begun to go bad, and when sharks begin to go bad...they stink! They smelled of ammonia and fishy water, not a good combination. Its just the right amount of stinky-ness to make you cringe for a couple of minutes. After standing around outside for a little bit, i got use to it. So as I grabbed a shark out of the cooler i handed it to my dad so he could cut it up. Even though they had gone bad, everyone still wanted to cut them up to see what was on the inside. We already knew it was going to be 90% meat and the rest would be either cartilage or intestines. We sliced it and opened up the guts. The first shark had some good eatin :] he had recently eaten an oyster that was still connected to its shell so it must have not of been in the stomach for long, otherwise it would have been deteriorated from the stomach acids. Wow I just went all science geek...at least I like science :] I really just wanted to inform people of the way sharks smelled when they go bad...so now you know!

"I killed a man....with this thumb!"

Every year for the past 3 years E.R. Dickson has had a free movie night open to families. Seeing that my mom is very involved in the elementary school, we all went. The movie night is normally held outside so its under the stars and in the cool breeze. Today though, it had been kind of overcast and windy. The newscaster also called for a chance of rain either tonight or tomorrow. The people who were showing the movie wanted to play it safe and set up inside the gym. As we were on our way there I thought, "The gym is going to be so packed, there's not going to be any room and I'm going to be miserable." To my surprise it wasn't packed at all it seems that the 'bad' weather scared everyone away. May I add that the weather was perfectly fine all night. It was crowded a tad but not overly crowded it was just the right amount. They were playing the movie Ratatouille. No one in our family besides Dylan and Hannah has seen the movie before so we were all excited. Well i was kind of tired i just got done with soccer practice at the YMCA, we came straight from there. So we were all stinky, sweaty, dirty and gross.Well my brother and I were anyway. The movie started out kind of weird. There was a rat jumping out of a window holding a cook book, like a rat knows how to cook...yeah right. It was one of those scenes where the person has a flash back to explain how they got into the situation they are in. As he is having the flash back it eventually catches up with the current point and carries on into the movie. Basically the movie was about a rat who became a gourmet chef in France with the help of a young terrible cook. Its a movie you would have to see for yourself. Well there was a part in the movie where the only girl chef is explaining how everyone in the kitchen has a secret and there was one man who had been sent to jail but know one knew why. Every time someone would ask the story would change and one time he held up his hand and all he said was " I killed a man...WITH THIS THUMB!" I have to admit it wasn't that funny i think it was a mix of me being tired and hungry and sleep deprived that made it absolutely hilarious for me. I just cant explain the whole movie though, it would take way to long and it would BE way to long. So anyway, the movie was pretty good and no one seemed to mind that my brother and I smelled like sweat and dirt. I definitely suggest this to families with small children :]
