My weekend and next week

Tomorrow is saterday as most of you know im sure, well by the time some of you read this it will be saterday already considering it is now 10:54 pm. The whole family, aside from my dad because he's going fishing again, is going to waterville tomorrow. Were going with some friends for their sons birthday. We went last year with them and we had a blast , we stayed all day and left around 4 30 to head home. On the way home we stopped for dinner at Lambert's. Wow, that place is so much fun. It's so laid back and loud, and VERY kid friendly. The best part though is the throwed rolls. They take their rolls fresh out of the over on a cart and throw them to whoever puts their hands in the air. With kids being kids, we had enough rolls to feed a starving country by the end of the night. The parents had to tell them to stop asking for rolls untill they ate the ones they had plus all their food. Their food is another story. They serve massive amouts of food that could probably feed 2 people honestly, depending on what you order. I ordered the chicken wings, I dont remember how many I had or how many I even ate but I know I was full and their were still some left over. Not only did you get what you ordered, but after you got your plate they had people walking around with bowls of food. If you asked, they would happily add more to your plate, but only after you got your plate(they werent allowed to put it on napkin). Why am i talking about Lambert's? Im suppose to be talking about Waterville. I really do think i have a mild case of ADD. I always start talking about one thing and end up on a COMPLETLY different subject, always, it doesnt matter i always do. And if imnot talking about it im doing something or looking at something then i get completly distracted but something that really shouldnt have distracted me. For example, today at walmart as we were shoping for camo stuff i went off looking for ceraine wrap and was totally distracted by a silicon muffin sheet and competly forgot about the ceraine wrap till i herd my sister yellin. THERE I GO AGAIN! RRRAAANNNNDDDDOOMMMM! Who knows mabey its just a phase im going through but if it is, ive been going through this ADD-ish stage for quite some time, 3 years now. Anyway, Waterville, thats going to be oodles of fun:] Did i just say oodles? Whatever hahaha. Next week is girls camp for me and scout camp for my brother. I will be gone for 3 days while he will be gone for 6, well hes coming back on saterday but still it counts as a day. Im upset that our camp is only 3 days this year. 3 days is nothing, we always have 5 days but this year they waited to long to book the camp site and the only one they found was only available for 3 days in a row :[ As i already said, im upset I always have alot of fun at camp, yes it can be miserable sometimes because of the heat but its still fun. ive decided to buy ceraine wrap and an air horn:] no tellin what im guna do...nothing mean though cause thats just wrong. But i am taking sister huff's advise "dont do something to someone else if you wouldnt want them to do that to you." but see here's the flaw i could care less what pranks are pulled on me so therefore im giving permission to all those that read this to prank me but be warned that i can come up with some pretty sneaky stuff...;] im planing to do something not so harsh to the first years. i mean i have to its like an unofficial iniation kinda. I was pranked, i pranked the first years for the past 2 years, its only right to keep the traditon going...right? i think so...we'll see what happens

Wanna know more about me?...as if you didnt already know enough

Last Saterday

Wow i haven't blogged in a LONG time i cant believe i didn't write about last weekend. Last weekend i went deep sea fishing with my dad my siblings and brother Applegate. I had never been deep sea fishing before so this was my first time and not only was it my first time it was my sisters first time fishing period. Anyway, we docked off somewhere in Bayou La Batre. As we started the boat up my dad went and parked the car everyone put one their life vest and as soon as my dad got back, we were off. So as we start to make our way out into the vast open ocean my dad and kit start debating on where to set the anchor so we could fish. They finally decide on a place near the lower end of dauphin island about 15 minutes later. Brother Applegate set the anchor and my dad began to rig all the fishing lines. Since my dad had fished in the same place last time he thought that we would be catching a good amount of sharks and fish since last time they were catching something every 10 minutes. It was at least half an hour at the least before we even got a bite. Notice I said a bite not a catch. It was yet another half hour till Blake actually caught a shark but we didn't keep it so there for we threw it back but it was a good 34 inches. Maybe 20 minutes later Hannah gets a bite but she couldn't control it so i took it over for her. From the way it was fighting and pulling you would have thought it was a baby shark. When i finally got it out of the water it was an eel. My dad and brother Applegate were both surprised to see an eel fighting like that then brother Applegate said it probably had the bait in its stomach when Hannah realized she had something and that's why it may have been fighting so hard. Half an hour later i finally got something and to my surprise it was a shark :] my first catch was a shark and this one was a keeper it was well over 34 inches and fat so we kept it. not even 30 minutes later i got something else. It was a sting ray. I fought with that thing for a good 5 minutes. I almost broke the fishing rod because the sting ray decided to go under the boat and he wanted me to go down with him. my dad had to take the rod from me and brake the line. he got away obviously. i just wanted to let everyone know of my first catch :] i don't think we tool pictures this time i think brother Applegate did though.

The Endless Fight

My littlest brother, Dylan, has this weird idea that MY cat simba (the orange one with the sunglasses on the side photo) is his. I have no idea where he got the idea that he was his he just came into my room one day and said "Simba is my cat" then he simply walked out. i sat in my bed kind of wondering what had just happened for a good while before i walked out and started to tell him that he was mine. i had declared this fat orange cat mine the day we found him in the backyard of our old house. He has been my cat ever since then and that was 2 years ago. So i honestly don't know why out of the blew he decided that simba was going to be his cat. i mean, simba sleeps in my room most of the time and when i say most i mean 6 days out of the week. he always follows me around the house and sometimes even when i go outside. which brings up another story. A couple of weeks ago Dylan took simba outside and i told him he better watch him closely or he would run off and i would have to find him. sure enough, as soon as i walk in he runs off to play with his friends and leaves simba all alone. about 10minutes later when i asked Dylan where he was he looked at me and said oops i left him outside. i got so mad but the first thing i did was run outside to find him while Dylan just stayed inside watching TV. i looked for that cat for at least 30 minutes before i found him under the house. so I've come to the conclusion that if simba was Dylan's cat wouldn't he have been the one looking for him, wouldn't he have been crawling under the house dodging cat poop and spider webs? so in my opinion, Dylan is just a lover and not anywhere near an owner of MY cat. This has been an ongoing fight for over 3 weeks now. I could safely say its been going on for at least 1 month...which is kind of sad. This will probably be an ongoing fight till Dylan finds something else that isn't his but he will insist it is to whoever the real owner is. i just find this all a little funny because I'm sure he knows what hes doing, saying that something is his when he knows its not. He knows it aggravates people, He just wont let it go until he either makes you give up what ever it is he wants to him or until he loses all interest in it and leaves it behind. really though, what do you expect from a little boy who happens to be the baby of the family? (and is still treated as the baby...because he still acts like a baby)

The Wonderfull Smell Of...Sharks?

This past Saturday my dad and my two little brothers, Dylan and Blake, went deep sea fishing. Ethan and I didn't go because we didn't want to miss our soccer games. (Which we both lost by 1 point) They were gone from 10 until around 4:30. As soon as they pulled the boat to the back I hopped in to look at the fish and the supposedly two sharks they had brought home. I had to help load everything off the boat and clean before I could look at the fish, so that took a good half hour maybe 45 minutes. As soon as I got off the boat I went straight to the cooler containing the fish. When i opened the cooler...BAM! Two sharks were sitting on top of the melting ice, life-less and dead. To tell you the truth, at first i was sort of freaked out because when i see a shark I expect it to be living or in a museum somewhere stuffed, not lifeless and still full of guts and blood. When I picked it up, a part of me wanted it to be alive to see it squirm, and the other part was saying "Chelsea, put it down, your guna drop it and daddy is going to get mad and your going to get in trouble." Well for anyone that knows me outta know I kept holding it. I mean honestly, how many chances are you going to get to hold a shark that your baby brother caught? Just for your information... I didn't drop it :] Well my dad waited till the next day to start cutting and cleaning the fish because it was to dark out side and to messy to do inside. when we opened the cooler...wow what a smell. The shark had begun to go bad, and when sharks begin to go bad...they stink! They smelled of ammonia and fishy water, not a good combination. Its just the right amount of stinky-ness to make you cringe for a couple of minutes. After standing around outside for a little bit, i got use to it. So as I grabbed a shark out of the cooler i handed it to my dad so he could cut it up. Even though they had gone bad, everyone still wanted to cut them up to see what was on the inside. We already knew it was going to be 90% meat and the rest would be either cartilage or intestines. We sliced it and opened up the guts. The first shark had some good eatin :] he had recently eaten an oyster that was still connected to its shell so it must have not of been in the stomach for long, otherwise it would have been deteriorated from the stomach acids. Wow I just went all science geek...at least I like science :] I really just wanted to inform people of the way sharks smelled when they go bad...so now you know!

"I killed a man....with this thumb!"

Every year for the past 3 years E.R. Dickson has had a free movie night open to families. Seeing that my mom is very involved in the elementary school, we all went. The movie night is normally held outside so its under the stars and in the cool breeze. Today though, it had been kind of overcast and windy. The newscaster also called for a chance of rain either tonight or tomorrow. The people who were showing the movie wanted to play it safe and set up inside the gym. As we were on our way there I thought, "The gym is going to be so packed, there's not going to be any room and I'm going to be miserable." To my surprise it wasn't packed at all it seems that the 'bad' weather scared everyone away. May I add that the weather was perfectly fine all night. It was crowded a tad but not overly crowded it was just the right amount. They were playing the movie Ratatouille. No one in our family besides Dylan and Hannah has seen the movie before so we were all excited. Well i was kind of tired i just got done with soccer practice at the YMCA, we came straight from there. So we were all stinky, sweaty, dirty and gross.Well my brother and I were anyway. The movie started out kind of weird. There was a rat jumping out of a window holding a cook book, like a rat knows how to cook...yeah right. It was one of those scenes where the person has a flash back to explain how they got into the situation they are in. As he is having the flash back it eventually catches up with the current point and carries on into the movie. Basically the movie was about a rat who became a gourmet chef in France with the help of a young terrible cook. Its a movie you would have to see for yourself. Well there was a part in the movie where the only girl chef is explaining how everyone in the kitchen has a secret and there was one man who had been sent to jail but know one knew why. Every time someone would ask the story would change and one time he held up his hand and all he said was " I killed a man...WITH THIS THUMB!" I have to admit it wasn't that funny i think it was a mix of me being tired and hungry and sleep deprived that made it absolutely hilarious for me. I just cant explain the whole movie though, it would take way to long and it would BE way to long. So anyway, the movie was pretty good and no one seemed to mind that my brother and I smelled like sweat and dirt. I definitely suggest this to families with small children :]
